LetsDineOnline (a.k.a. LDO in this document) is a website (https://letsdine.online) that provides restaurants (eating and drinking establishments) with the ability to accept and process Reservations and/or Waitlist requests from their customers typically through that restaurant's website or through a link from that restaurant's social media account(s).
This Privacy Policy may be updated at any time by LDO. When and if updates occur, all LDO customers will receive a notification, via email on file, with a link to the revised LDO Privacy Policy. If You are concerned about how Your information is used or disclosed, please check our online Privacy Policy from time-to-time.
Terms Used in This Privacy Notice
- "LDO" – Will be used in the remainder of this notice to refer to and identify the LetsDineOnline organization.
- "LDO Products & Services" – Will be used in the remainder of this notice to refer to and identify the Reservations and/or Waitlist Subscriptions, Subscription Plans and/or Products we offer to our customers.
- "LDO Account" - Will be used to refer to the actual account You signed up for and hold with LetsDineOnline.
- "ChargeOver" - The third-party organization we have contracted with and use to process subscription plan payments and other related product charges and/or fees as well as the storage of payment information and payment methods provided to LDO by our customers.
- "You" and "Your" - The way we will refer to "You", our customer or a member of your staff, or to "You" as a potential customer of our products and services, or to the use of our Reservation and and Waitlist System by "Your" Customers.
We may, at various times in this document, fall back to specific terms or terminology, if needed, for additional clarification.
Privacy
LDO is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and website users. We want to provide a safe and secure user experience. We will use our best efforts to ensure that the information that we have compiled and that You submit to us remains private. Information about your establishment, your traffic patterns or your customers will never be shared or disclosed to any outside party or organization and will remain solely within the confines of your secure account. We do not disclose information about Your individual visits to our website or Your e-mail address to any outside parties. If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post those changes on the website, and provide You with the ability to opt-out of those new uses. If You are concerned about how Your information is used or disclosed, please check our online Privacy Policy from time-to-time.
Cookies are not implemented on the LDO website as part of the sign up, login, or general use of Your LDO Products & Services. LDO instead tracks and maintains Your visits through the use of other established and accepted methods which are created when You login. This is a more secure way to protect Your login information and Your general use of LDO Products & Services. Upon Log Out from Your LDO Products & Services on the LDO website, Your Login credentials are eliminated (basically destroyed) and are not recreated until the next time You Log In to Your LDO account.
LDO cooperates with law enforcement inquiries, as well as other third parties, to enforce laws. We can (and You authorize us to) disclose any information about You to law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate, in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements, or other activity that is illegal or may expose us, service or content providers we work with, or You to possible legal liability.
What information do we collect and/or process?
LDO collects and processes data that falls into a number of different categories, and for a number of different reasons. We have detailed this information within the remainder of this privacy notice.
There are a number of areas on the LDO website where we ask for and collect information about You and Your organization, including personally identifiable information. Where we do, it is directly in order to serve You better, or is directly necessary to accomplish the proper functionality of the LDO Products & Services You are requesting or are currently using.
Information is also collected from Your customers when You or Your customer submits Reservations and/or Waitlist entries through Your website or social media link operated by You. This collection of customer data and information is essential to the proper operation of Your LDO Products & Services. The data we collect from Your customer is that of a reasonable nature to allow You to identify the customer, contact the customer and process the Reservation or Waitlist entry made by or on behalf of Your customer. Data collected from Your customers may include, but is not limited to, the following:

Method of Information Collection
Information for each LDO customer is typically collected via secure website portal pages provided during the sign up process and is a completely automated process concluding with the collection of payment information and the automated setup of Your LDO Products & Services account.
Information may also be collected from a potential customer choosing to sign up for LDO Products & Services via email or through a direct person-to-person phone call.
In the course of using Your LDO Products & Services. Information collected from Your customers is collected via an automated process using web forms accessible from your website or through a social media link operated by you and is used solely for the purpose of processing Reservation and/or Waitlist entries made by or on behalf of Your customer.
During Your initial sign up process, LDO collects the following information from You:

- Your Official Restaurant Name
- Main Contact First and Last Name
- Main Contact Title
- Main Business Phone Number
- Main Contact Email Address
- A PIN Code (established at time of sign up and used as an additional secure login method)
- Your 10-Digit Cell Phone Number
- Official Physical/Street Address:, City, State & Zip Code
- Main Cuisine (Optional)
- Restaurant Website Address
Payment Information
- Name on Credit Card
- Credit Card Number
- Credit Card Expiration Date
- Credit Card CVC Security Code
- Credit Card Billing Address
- Credit Card Email (optional)
- Bank Information (if using ACH/Bank Account as a payment method)
- Other typical information required to properly process LDO subscription payments
Email, Text & Phone Correspondence
Your LDO Account. We will initiate and send correspondence utilizing numerous channels and methods (Email or Text or Phone) for the sole purpose of facilitating the proper functionality of your LDO Account. These communications will occur due to actions initiated by You, Your staff or Your guests during the normal operation of Your LDO Products & Services and, depending on the actions initiated, may be through email or text or phone.
Correspondence will occur when You test LDO Products & Services, when You request a callback or request a demo of LDO Products & Services, when You sign up for LDO Products & Services, when we need to discuss details relating to the maintenance of Your LDO Account, or during the operation of LDO Products & Services when Reservations and/or Waitlist requests are entered by You or Your guests. This correspondence is essential to ensuring the proper functionality and the necessary operation and/or maintenance of your LDO Account and your LDO Products & Services.
What's really important... Your contact information, Your email addresses, or Your phone numbers are never sold or provided in any way to an external party. LDO will NEVER contact Your guests in any way shape or form.
Data Retention
We will hold Your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes set forth in this Policy or as long as we are legally required or permitted to do so. Information may persist in copies made for backup and business continuity purposes for an additional time. See details below.
If You CANCEL Your LDO Products & Services, Your subscription will remain active through the last day of Your paid subscription period. Following the last day of Your paid subscription period, Your data will be held for an additional 30 days. This 30-day retention period is for two purposes:
- To allow for a quick and an efficient way to allow You to resume Your subscription after cancellation
- To process any remaining charges, if any, that may remain on Your account
At the end of the 30-day retention period Your entire account, Your personal information, Your organization information and all credit card, payment and financial data will be completely and permanently removed from our databases servers and third-party payment processors.
If You SUSPEND Your LDO Products & Services, Your subscription will remain active through the last day of Your paid subscription period. Following the last day of Your paid subscription period, Your data will be held for an additional period of one (1) year. This one (1) year retention period is for one purpose:
- To allow for a quick and an efficient way to allow You to resume Your subscription after suspension
At the end of the one (1) year retention period we will contact You and/or Your organization via email and/or phone to discuss Your future intentions for Your suspended subscription. You may then elect to extend and remain in a suspended condition for an additional six (6) months or elect to cancel Your subscription.
If You elect to EXTEND the SUSPENSION of Your LDO Products & Services for an additional six (6) months, but do not renew Your subscription by the culmination of that six (6) month time period, Your account will be automatically canceled due to inactivity within 30 days following the six (6) month extension period without notice.
If Your LDO Products & Services are automatically canceled due to inactivity, Your data will be held for an additional 30 days. This 30-day retention period is for two purposes:
- To allow for a quick and an efficient way to allow You to resume Your subscription after cancellation
- To process any remaining charges, if any, that may remain on Your account
At the end of the 30-day retention period Your entire account, Your personal information, Your organization information and all credit card, payment and financial data will be completely and permanently removed from our databases servers and third-party payment processors.
Information and/or data collected from Your customers is permanently stored in a database. This database is used solely for the purpose of processing Reservation and/or Waitlist entries.
Credit Card/Payment Processing
Credit Card and other payment processing and payment information storage is handled through a third-party known as ChargeOver in Minneapolis, MN.

LDO holds a separate, secure account with ChargeOver. The administration of this account pertains to the maintenance and updating of customer subscription information, subscription plans, payment plans and payment information.
LDO/ChargeOver does not and will not initiate any charges other than the agreed to automatic monthly or annual charges for subscription plans or one-time, customer-elected purchases for added services, equipment or features that a customer selects during the sign up process or in the course of using their subscription or overage charges incurred through the general use of LDO Products & Services. Late Payments, Declined Payments, Payment Failures or Overages are communicated to You, via email, and the responsibility to remedy the conditions is left to You to initiate.
Information Storage
All information, with the exception of payment information, is stored securely within an LDO database at the LDO server site. LDO does not store credit card, payment information or any financial data from our customers on the LDO server. Payment Methods, Credit Card Information, Payment Processing and all other financial data pertaining to You, our customer, is securely stored and handled by ChargeOver in Minneapolis, MN.
The information storage is required to facilitate the proper operation of the LDO Products & Services provided by LDO.
The information stored is used for no other purpose than to facilitate the operation of the LDO Products & Services provided by LDO.
The information stored may be used to contact an LDO customer in regard to issues pertaining to setup or troubleshooting LDO Products & Services.
How we use Your and Your customer's information
The information provided by and collected from You and Your organization as an LDO customer, or information collected from Your customers, is used solely for all activities related to, and for the sole purpose of, facilitating the proper operation of LDO Products & Services purchased by and used by Your organization.
